BROAD SPECTRUM
Containing more than just CBD, such as some minor cannabinoids and terpenes, but typically no THC.C
CANNABIDIOL (CBD)
One of the primary cannabinoids found in cannabis. Not associated with the typical psychoactive effects.
CANNABINOID
Natural compounds produced by the cannabis (Hemp or Marijuana) plant.
CERTIFICATE OF ANALYSIS (COA)
A report provided by a lab facility that perform certain tests verifying results potency tests, heavy metals tests, solvent tests, and/or terpene tests.

DABBING
A method which requires cannabis concentrates to be heated and inhaled. Different from vaping or smoking.E
ENDOCANNABINOIDS
Cannabinoid compounds produced naturally by the body.
ENTOURAGE EFFECT
Where all of the compounds (cannabinoids, terpenes, etc) in the cannabis plant join together in the body, working with each other to create a balanced, synergistic effect. Cannot happen when using isolate products.
F
FULL SPECTRUM
Whole Plant extract product that contains not only CBD, but also some other cannabinoids (usually THC), and terpenes in their naturally occurring quantities. Nothing added nothing taking away! Just as nature intended.

HEMP
Any cannabis plant containing less than 0.3% THC on a dry weight basis.
HEMP OIL
Oils created from hemp. Usually Hemp seed oil. Not necessarily CBD oil.
HYBRID
Hybrid strains contain a mix of sativa and indica genetics.I
INDICA
Typically, Indica strains of cannabis are short, bushy plants with wide leaves. Indica plants tend to grow faster and have a higher yield than the sativa variety. Medicine derived from Indica strains have higher CBD and lower THC counts.
ISOLATE
A cannabis product that contains only CBD. Does not promote the entourage effect.S
SATIVA
Sativa strains of cannabis are generally a lighter shade of green and grow tall and thin with narrow leaves. Sativa strains take longer to grow, mature, and require more light. Medicine derived from Sativa strains have lower CBD and higher THC counts.
SUBLINGUAL
A delivery method where you applying the product under the tongue. Hold it for 90 sec. the mucus membranes (soft tissue) in your mouth will absorb it by passing the digestive system.T
TERPENES
Oils found in all plants that give the plant scent, flavor, and additional benefits. What gives lemon its scent, pine its scent.
TINCTURE
Traditionally used to describe alcohol based products, but now used to describe even oil-based products. Typically used sublingually or orally. Some use it topically as well.
TOPICAL
A product or method that requires you to apply the product to the skin topically. Does not get into bloodstream.
